The release of Apple iPhone 5 has been a hot topic among tech geeks in the recent months. There were expectations that the upcoming iPhone should improve on its battery metrics to handle its sophisticated features. Well, I got exciting news!
We can expect a great battery life in iPhone 5 as Apple has a record of improving battery life with its every upcoming product. The iPhone 4 offers talk-time of 7 hours on 3G, 14 hours on 2G (GSM model only), and standby time of 300 hours. On the other hand, the iPhone 5 is expected to offer 14 hours of talk time on 3G, 7 hours of talk time on 4G, and standby time of 600 hours.

The rumors on the features of iPhone 5 have been around for a while, but the most important consideration is its price. Based on history, Apple has an experience on serving an affordable price for the newer iPhone generation. Even though there is no announcement from Apple yet, it is impossible for iPhone 5 to get a cheaper price than iPhone 4’s. With all the rumored brand new and high-end features, the price of iPhone 5 might even be more expensive than iPhone 3, iPhone 3gs and iPhone 4 on their first release dates.

Some say it’s on September 5, some say on October 4, others claim that it will be on October 21st. There is no exact date on when will the most awaited iPhone 5 be launched but one thing is for sure, it’s coming soon.
Rumor has it that in the mid-October, there will be no vacation for Apple employees since the new handset iPhone 5 will be released during this time. It has been rumored that Apple has blacked out vacation leaves of its employees on mid October. People are speculating that this will be the release of the new iOS 5, upgrade software for the old handsets, iPods, iTouch and iPads then days later will be the launching of the new iPhone 5. They patterned it to the release of iOS4 which was made on June 21st 2010 and 4 days later Apple launched the iPhone 4.
